Crazy news

So some of you have heard this news already, but I figured I might as well disseminate it to all of you at once rather than wondering who I've told and who I haven't. The short form of it is this:

I'm leaving Cornell.

Of course, the long form isn't quite as drastic as that sounds. The general story is this: My advisor has decided to leave Cornell

That /is/ crazy. I've never been to Austin. You'll have to make it a goal not to move again once you get a place in Austin.

I didn't realize it was already 4 years that you've been there in Ithaca. Home is an interesting word. I wonder if I lived here in Bloomington for 4 years if I'd think of it as my home by the end. Truthfully I don't feel like I have a home anymore. I don't have that sense of identification anywhere. Not even at the 'rents house.

I never heard of SXSW before, it looks pretty neat though =) I need to get on visiting all the cities I want to visit before I settle someplace. If that's possible... Austin is another one I'll add to my list =)
