Thanks for everyone's comments in the last post. It may have been some days and Anime Expo has gone by, but the silence from my backyard is still very different. Am I reading right in that you wore a different costume every day? Impressive! I always have enough trouble just gimping together one for a given event... though I'm guessing you and I are working with vastly different budgets here. ;)

I think I saw one of your cosplay pics on Teh Facebrook; looked like you had fun. Glad you got to go and chill this time!

Yes, I wore a different outfit each day. Which isn't much compared to the amount of people who bring 10+ outfits to a 4 day event. I don't know how they do it but each time I see 'em they're in a different outfit.

Different budgets? I'm not rich. It's super cheap to just make it yourself. Luckily my mom used to be a seamstress so if I need any help I have the source living with me. Basically it's making two outfits per year, and I started since 2008, so it wasn't like I just made them all this year. One of the outfits was borrowed because I didn't want to bring an outfit that I made in 2008. Everyone else who cosplays carries at least 6 outfits so I'm actually the weird one who doesn't have enough cosplays. :O

Wow, I had no idea. Well, I mean, I had some idea. I know some people do go the whole nine yards with it, but still. Cosplay = srs business. XD

Yeah, hey, nothing wrong with making your own for cheap. I don't have any sewing skills but it is fun to put together a costume out of thrift garb for cheap. ^_^
