I still check LJ every week but my updates seem to have slowed down to about at least once per month. Here's the first for August! Sakuya visited and went, it was a great time!

Don't think too much of eBay sellers. The rules and nitpickery of the site makes sellers feel like they're going to be arrested by the eBay Gestapo if they make the slightest wrong move. That's not to say there aren't good and bad, but there's quite a bit of farce when it comes to trying to maintain a perfect image.

(That's why I'd rather just donate than sell the hardware I have, as I don't want to put up with setting up an auction and shipping.)

I'll send you stuff once I find antistatic bags and boxes that fit.

Oh no! I hate laptops, they are cruddy and prone to dying. I have been feeling kind of bleh and my work hours are non existant so I hope the holiday season picks up a bit. I also got a new tablet to replace the one that died, well the tablet didn't die but the pen did so there you have it. It's good to see you're still okay and busy and probably making way more money than I am!

eBay is hit or miss I guess, I got this tablet from there and it only cost me around thirty dollars. It's better than I expected for the price!

just like that with the teeny tiny size and no pen. not even sure what I did with the broken pen oh wait there it is. battery in it leaked and when I tried it recently it was all pbbt no dice so you get what you pay for!

The new tablet doesn't have a stand for its pen (how cheeeap) so I reused the old one and stand it upside down so the battery acid will leak into the cap instead of into the electronics next time :|

That eBay seller sounds like a jerk who doesn't want to admit he made a mistake and banned you out of fear that you would blemish his record. If he didn't want to give a picture, that's understandable, but to block you from bidding was an over-reaction that showed he was a punk. This sounds entirely too much like that on-line nonsense I have to deal with.

That's terrible to hear about your father. I can't remember what type of work he does, but with unemployment at record highs, I hope you all have enough money for a while. I know how much of a strain it is when a family member is out of work. I can only hope your sister is pitching in, because it's no fun being the breadwinner of the house by yourself.
