Duggars have 17th kid

This makes me want to vomit.

To quote Stewie Griffin: "Is there any tread left on the tires, or is it pretty much like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?"

*Shudder*

Michelle, 40, has been pregnant for 126 months - or 10.5 years - of her life.
Dear Michelle Jim Bob Duggar,

You've spent 25% of your life pregnant. If you don't want to use birth control just stop spreading your legs for your husband and maybe you could go a year without being pregnant. Or are you just trying to save money on feminine hygeine products? Because diapers? More expensive. Hopefully your daughters get the message that BC=marital bliss.

Hearts,
Beth

But they are good Christians and we all know that means that God doesn't want them to use birth control.

I said almost that exact same thing when I read the article this morning.

I wonder if he has her on a strict "wifely duties" regimen.

So if the dad got a vasectomy and then the wind blew the wrong way, it would be a sign from God that he was doing the wrong thing and should have a gazillion more kids to make up for it? They do realize that the BC pill isn't the ONLY form of birth control. They do realize this, right?

You know I'm all for big families and I want a big family (adopted, not bio) but holy shit this family's mentality is creepy.

These are the type of people that probably don't do anything outside of missionary because "God wouldn't want it." Ugh.

What I love is that the doctors told her to stop after the 10th kid. I mean, really. They should have just cut off her insurance or refused to treat her.

At least they have the means for the kids, though. I have to say that. It's not like she's getting knocked up and leaving the kids at a fire station or something. But it's almost like they enjoy being a national spectacle.
