Amelia, things change. It has always been this way, it always will be. Ever wonder why the old people are always telling stories of when they were young? Its because the past almost always looks better then the present. The key to happyness is to accept the here and now.
To be honest, the Tick said it best...
"I am a citizen of the moment, I've built my white picket fence around the "now" with a commanding view of the "Soon to be"."
Its sounds like just something to get laughs, but it has ALOT of truth in it. To be happy you have to not only accept the "now" but you have to "build your white picket fence around it", or live it. And ALWAYS look forward to the "soon to be". The past is over, nothing you can do about it. The only thing you can change is the future (time travel is not possable, no matter what David will argue).
Oh, and LP kicks ass.
