weekend, redefined

i remember when "weekend" used to mean two whole days to sleep in, relax, kick back, and generally goof off while maybe running an occasional errand.

what the hell happened? these days, my weekends are more work than actual work.

Yep. That second meeting I had at church last week? Cancelled, Saturday night. Today she emails us all and wants to reschedule for this Sunday. I'm doing my passive-agressive thing and not responding, which I know is childish but I can't seem to construct a ... well, a constructive reply. Next weekend we are supposed to be going to Decatur, and how much am I freaking out about that?? So much.
