oh my god - just. i think you ripped dean's heart out, stomped it to pieces and then let lucifer set it on fire. in front of sam.

oh jesus, this hurts and it's so chilling and the punishment and torture fits sam to a tee. dean's hell is different because dean is different. sam's hell is about being abandoned, about losing things - humanity, people, purpose, understanding. i can't even articulate how much i just loved this - i read it, had to stop and read it again just to fully understand the horror of sam's hell.

What an amazing way of showing Sam's torture in hell. It makes sense to me that opposed to Dean's decades of physical torture, Sam's would center around mental torture. I'd love it if the show went that way--what would it mean to the boys if this was the way it went for Sam?

All the scenes were wonderfully creepy and horrifying.

And I love your title!
