Gone to start a new life...

..my hair has, that is. ^_^

A couple of weeks ago, my mother let it slip that she was thinking of getting her hair cut. She's had it many different lengths over the years, but lately it had grown to her waist. Then she read about the "Locks of Love program. In a nutshell, salons that participate in the program take a minimum of 10 inches of ( Read more... )

**Winks back** ;) Well, glad to be of service...I think. ^_~

As for the Locks of Love Program...that's a wonderful program, and I'm proud of you and your mother for doing that. I can't wait to see you with shorter hair...^_^

**Working on another bit of Fiction...actually about twelve bits of fiction, but only one will take the Center Stage...will give out The One Rose to the Winning Ficbit later...** (This goofiness means I'm tired-wired...yaya!)

Also...gotta share something with ya for our next game night...**Holds up a copy of "Katamari Damacy"...**

*chuckles* Well, since I'm starting to write stories like you do, and you have such great ideas, I don't consider it a bad thing at all! :D *HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGS*

*blushes* Well, as I said, Mom told me about it, and decided, "why not?" And just finding the website yesterday, it made me feel even better about the decision.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo..... more Scott fiction? *waits eagerly but patiently* I shall look forward to enjoying the winner! :D

"Katamari Damacy"? *looks down at Narumi-chan's post* Oh my.. something tells me this means trouble. And addiction! ^_^ hehe!

I heard about NaNoWriMo last year, but I never got sufficiently motivated to look for the website. Bad me!

It sounds like fun! It might be a good chance for me to practice writing on the computer instead of in a notebook. What encouraged me is that you can write what ends up being complete drivel, as long as you have fun doing it.

I usually do work too much, but I can try and squeeze a novel in (wake up, write before work, come back, write instead of reading...). Not one anywhere close to what I would consider readable by the general public, but it sounds like a fun challenge. And perhaps it'll shake some of the more stubborn muses into shape, being shown up by a complete newcomer. *wicked grin*

So much so.. I just signed up. ^_^;;; Your evil influence is truly evil!

Hehe.. Scott does have a tendency to bring over games I get addicted to, so that's nothing new! ;p But seriously, with two votes, I'm sure I'll be done for! *goes searching for more info on "Katamari Darcy"*

Yes, it IS evil...I wanted just to play it for 10 minutes....it sucked away two HOURS...and I loved every minute of it. There's a certain charm one gets from rolling a ball around that can eventually suck up street signs, bears, people, cars....>:-)

Really? COOL! :D I've only seen the pictures of you with short hair, so I had no idea! *Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugs her back* I'm so glad Mom found out about the program.. and that I could do *something* to help. *chuckles* I've talked Mom into taking a traditional pic.. I'll just have to find someone with a scanner I can abuse. *evil grin*

I would have more of Chapter 7 done, but it's proving a very hard chapter for me to write (many different plot threads as well as tons of emotional and psychological stuff. *whew*). I'll get it done as soon as I can! (Which might end up sometime during the holidays, since I've gone and been suckered into Narumi-chan's suggestion. How do I let myself get talked into these things? ;p)

*laughs* Nah! If they even try and do anything to you, I'll just dangle the novel in front of them and lead them away! ;)

Seriously, though, the wonderful people who actually like what I'm writing have incredible patience with me (you included, especially since you've been waiting years for my RoV muses to settle back down). When you love a writer's work, whenever there's any addition, it's well worth the wait. *turns sparkly eyes back on her*

*joins her in oogling the furuba manga*

*SUPER UBER SQUEAL!* YAY! Locks of Love!! That program completely rocks! XD My little brother grows hair scary fast and used to let it grow out to his shoulders and then just tell them to take it all. He was a "regular" for a few years, it was really cute.

*GLOMPU* I'm glad you had such a good time getting your haircut, and that you've had such a productive jaunt with your muses lately. LOL, maybe it doesn't seem "exciting" but all in all, I think it sounds like you had an awesome day.

Hehe.. that must have been fun! And it sounds adorable! :D

My hair grows scary fast, too, I just kept getting it trimmed when I'd finally have enough of putting it over my shoulder to go to the bathroom. ;p I'm thinking of letting it grow back out until it reaches my waist again, and then do another donation. ^_^

*SUPERUBERGLOMPS her back* I was so scared going in, but now I'm so glad I had it done. Just thinking about someone else wearing the hair I've loved for so long.. it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Although I'm still getting used to having my hair so short! *laughs* Thank you!

That's so cool that you participated in Locks of Love. I think it's so awesome when people do things like that. It really makes a difference for those who need that little extra help. *hugs*

Oo! and more Ai no Koinu? Oh goody, goody!

*Huuuuuuuuugs her back* It's the very least I can do, I figured. I mean, my hair will grow back. But others aren't nearly so lucky. I may not have money, but I figured I should try and at least do something to help others. Although I think it's going to take me a bit to get used to having so little hair now in comparison to this morning. ^_^

Yep! Slowly but surely! It's just Chapter 7 is a very draining chapter (Chapter 6 is being betaed right now), so I'm going slow on purpose for that one. :)

Of course, I've just started "A Roma Youkai's Tale".. and you have me totally hooked! Darn you! I read last night until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.. I got to Inu Yasha, Kagome, and the Quilt. :D I'm going to have to read more tomorrow! *evil grin*

I understand about going slow with the chapters. Part 4 of WLT will probably take longer than the first three because I want to make sure it's just right. I guess you could say it's one of the turning points in that chapter. heehee. I don't want to goof it up.

Take your time writing. Ai no Koinu is one of those fics I can read what chapters you have up over and over and still be awed by it every time. Good things are worth waiting for.

And you're reading A Roma Youkai's Tale? *hugs* That fic also is very near and dear to my heart. Hee, it's my heritage. I'm glad you're liking it so far. I just finished chapter 9 and have sent it off to beta. Whee!
