Okay, the subject is probably the several chocolate chip cookies I had for dinner since I have not had a chance to escape my room in search of real food. ^_

Ooh, Willy Wonka's introduction... I enjoy singing it to provoke my sister in an amusing manner. "Willy Wonka! Willy Wonka! The amazing chocolatier!" (He really is amazing when played by Johnny Depp.)
As to your love of words, well, I love words too. I read the dictionary from time to time, just looking up words and (correctly) guessing what language English has adopted them from. 'Spunk' for example, is from the Irish for 'wood.' 'Cub' and 'whiskey' are also Irish. ...*grins* Well, you can see I prefer Irish over any other language :D. I even tried to learn Irish Gaelic. Sadly, I ended up so confused I nearly tore my hair out. (All those letters--and 'h' is not one of them! It is an OPERATION!) But I'm still willing to learn... somewhat...
I sympathise with your time of the month. My time of the month is STILL irregular after three years. Occasionally I get two times a month. Two! *dies in estrogen-induced sugar coma after eating too much chocolate and snapping at everyone to keep away*

Indeed he is! I like Wilder's version, but Depp's interpretation is closer to the spirit of the book, I think. He acts flippant and childlike, but there is that underlying, "I'm doing this for their own good" to his actions. Depp is such a fantastic character actor!

Wow.. your love is even stronger than mine! My dictionary usually comes out when I stumble across a word (usually in 19th century novels) that I don't know, and I look it up so I have another word in the databank. :) I like knowing the sources of words just as fun facts, but I never thought of using the dictionary that way. Kudos!

Welllp, if you're wondering how I snuck in here, it's because I have a strange affinity with my best friend's cats and they helped me in. After I sold my soul begged them on my knees and promised to follow their every whim for a year scratched them under the chin and asked them nicely, of course. :D
On the bright side of my imbalanced estrogen, sometimes I get NONE a month! W00t! *dances on cars* It's usually right before my karma compensates for the prolongued bliss :), but it's fun while it lasts, em?
