After being offline for the week these were not the news I wanted to come back to. I know that all of you who still care already made a post. Those made me teary-eyed to be honest.

But I felt the need to say Goodbye myself. Save for a few breaks Heroes was with me for almost four years and it's been the longest time I spent in a fandom ever. I

Aww, it was definitely nice meeting you. Most of the people I met through Heroes are really, really awesome, it definitely gets points for that. I'm positive we'll have something else to talk about, maybe True Blood.

Don't I still owe you a tl;dr about slash? It's been so long, I forgot what I wanted to say. I guess it's a constantly evolving opinion. ;)

Ohhh, I'm really, really looking forward to True Blood! I have stayed away from the teasers and trailers save for the poster campaign (which is so, so awesome) though, that's why I haven't commented on your recent TB posts yet. Perhaps now that Heroes is over, I can manage to be a little more fannish about other shows instead of just watching quietly. You've always been a spectacular discussion partner! :)

I'll always get filled with nostalgia for Heroes, for the parts I liked best and meeting so many of you guys was definitely one of those parts.

I refuse to believe Milo and Adrian don't still hang out. NO WAY. They're still being ridiculous, eating soup on boats and taking Adrian's kids to basketball games. I KNOW THIS IN MY HEART.

I don't like to say goodbye to friends even after I've said goodbye to fandoms, so I'm more than happy to have you with me.

Now that I've had so much distance from all of it, I will admit that the things that stick out most from Heroes was that time. That time when we were all becoming friends and filled with excitement and it felt like everything that happened was designed to make us happy.
