Peculiarly, I always thought you were dyslexic. Even in the 'lemon' days. I assumed you knew. How odd.

I think it is one thing to joke about it and another to know it for sure. I often joked about it, mainly my bad spelling. However, the realization and knowing the specifics makes me re-evaluate not only my past but also the decisions I make and way I approach things today. The spelling is just a symptom it's more about the way I think.

I suppose it's knowing I need to do something different in order to cope with my weakness and at the same time accept and embrace my strengths.... now to learn more on using the force ;)

It's your approach and the way you think that made me assume you were dyslexic. You have a very off-centre thought process which is immensely creative and you're so visual in your descriptions. I suspect your coping mechanism has been to strengthen your areas of aptitude because of your general positive attitude to life. Whilst many regard it as stifling and a disability, I'm sure it has contributed to the person you are today in a good way.

It's difficult, but always good, to know that there are ways to improve and even better to be provided with the opportunity to do so.

I think it's amazing you have got so far with such a disability and also not to find out 'officially' until this stage in your life...

Avoid spelling
Smudge words to hide spelling
Draw pictures
Use acronyms
Spellcheckers are great but also flawed
WRite several revisions
Mind maps ftw!!
