I want to take the time to explain why I have been so quiet for such a long time! I was really sick the last two years...cancer. But I am ok now and the chances that this nightmare is finally over are good! While I was in hospital reading was the only thing that distracted me and many of those wonderful authors are thankfully on my list. But sadly ( Read more... )

Yes, I'm healthy again :-), even though officially I have to wait 5 years to be declared such! Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad to hear you're doing better. I can only imagine what the time was like . . . I spent yesterday with my sister in the breast clinic, where women were coming for their second or third mammograms or ultra-sounds. I looked at each one, worried for her, trying to imagine the fear she was feeling. The word for my sister was semi-good ~ probably a cyst. But it took three exams to determine, and it was very trying.

This afternoon I had a meeting that included a board member who has battled ovarian cancer for almost a decade. She has chemo almost every week of her life, something I can't even imagine. Her spirit and will power are so amazing.

I hope our good thoughts can help you re-build your strength. I don't know if you read any of my fanfic anywhere (because I don't post it in my own journal), but if you're ever interested, I'll send you links.

Thank you very much! It was the most scary time of my life and I'm so happy that it is finally over! I hope I have to never see a hospital from the inside ever again...
My thoughts are with your sister and I will cross my fingers for her!!
I have read many of your stories but I would LOVE to read them again, so please, give me links :-)!
