So. Here's the deal. I like my classmate, Shane. I suspect that he likes me as well based on a number of factors - I won't bore you with them. He invited me to an Orioles-Phillies game this summer (he's an O's fan). Now enter Nate, who I know through the BBS. I've been talking to him for a long time and used to have a bit of a crush on him, but managed to ditch that at some point along the line. I still consider him a very good friend. I tell him that I like Shane and all of a sudden he wants to visit - this makes me suspicious, and when he does visit my suspicions are confirmed. He likes me. Trouble is he's not exactly local and while I do like him to an extent, I don't think it's enough to start an exclusive relationship. Anyway. Nate has a break between summer semesters of graduate school and wants to visit. During that time he wants to go to a Phillies game. That's the weekend they play the Orioles.
So yeah. I was kind of counting on going with Shane, but at the same time I don't want to hurt Nate's feelings - but going with both of them seems like a bad idea.
