My Grandma has this gorgeous grand piano which is probably the only reason why I would ever look forward to visiting her in Old Lyme.  That sounds horrible, but it's also the truth.  I am allergic to that house - the beds have no dust covers and I have a severe dust mite allergy, and so if we spend the night I end up sick.  She does have a nice

I say go for it! I took piano lessons as a child but was quickly and easily outdone by my brother and thus gave up. I wish I'd stuck with it, because I'd love to be good at it now.

You can probably find good deals on used pianos if you don't mind the fact that, you know, they're used. The important thing is to keep it tuned properly.

Until then, I suggest doing like I plan to: invest in a semi-fancy keyboard. :)
