Republican presidential candidates

Am I the only one who's bothered by the fact that Perry got applause for boasting that he's a mass executioner of death sentence prisoners (not all of whom were guilty of the crimes they were accused of)?Of all the Republican presidential candidates, I think I like Huntsman the best. He's fluent in Mandarin Chinese and he believes in evolution.

I'm more than a little fond of Huntsman too, though he seems relatively invisible. (Then again, Obama is generally a bit too conservative for me, and *way* to soft on civil liberties, so it's kind of an academic exercise.)
