The Phantom Tollbooth

Reading The Phantom Tollbooth aloud to Z, I found more evidence why I probably won't ever be a voice actress (no matter how fun it seems, or how much I'd like to try).

I've been doing the voices all differently for fun, and even though I'm home alone with Z and no one else can hear me, I still feel self-conscious and embarrassed

I could tell you some pretty funny stories about when I was starting teaching Chen, and my horror at realizing that I was going to have to stand up in front of that class and do the form while everyone watched. (Which is kind of hard to avoid while teaching.)

And now I'm totally shameless. But it didn't happen all at once.

Being a Mom will make you do things that you normally wouldn't do. You'll probably get used to it after a while.
