Most protesting tweeps are doing media activism, ie going and filming at the hospitals and keeping injury and weaponry information accurate, rather than being on the frontlines, though some of them are. The sit-in over at the Cabinet - a couple of streets down from me, halfway to Tahrir on Qasr el Einy - is now a street battle. It started when the army arrested someone and sent him back out with a mashed face and signs of beating with electric wire.
