Hello,
I am writing to see if you will friend me (I have friended you because my journal is f-locked too) because I can tell I will like your sense of humor from the fact that you have the best icon ever (the kitten, the cookie and Snape -- the smirk when he says "yes"! The idea of Snape stealing cookies from kittens!), which I saw on Trekkie Grrrl's page (plus I am a Snape freak, which is how I know Trekkie because we chat about Snape dolls and fanfic a bit on Den of Angels). Anyway, I am well and depressingly over 18 (33 if you must know, and still playing with doll ... and Snapes.)

I saw your comment on mock the stupid, and am a grad student in speech-language pathology. In most places (US) even if you move your daughter to a private school, the public school is still legally obligated to provide services to her once she has been identified as needing them. Also if there is a University in your area that has a SLP/communication sciences and disorders department you might be able to get services really cheap.
