I haven't thought about these details in a while. Thanks for the refresher. I have such a hard time keeping this stuff straight, but I don't feel so bad about that when I look at your diagram.
I wouldn't feel bad about it. I read these things every day, and some of them are one verse and you miss them. Nachor is ALSO Terach's father's name, which makes that bit even more confusing.
I'm going through Abraham and Sarah right now, and I'm skimming in Hebrew trying to find relationship stuff. I know a lot of this stuff, but it's weird going through it.
Also, as I've said, I really do love my religion and the Bible. But that doesn't mean I can't find the humor and the absurdity in some of this stuff.
I'm actually studying translation right now, and why there's really no good way to translate Ancient Hebrew into Modern English. Jewish Study Bible's translation isn't one I'm familiar with one way or the other, honestly. I really do prefer actually looking at the Hebrew when I can. I do know that 'Nephilim' is not the same word that they translated as 'sons of god' and 'sons of god' is a poor translation

(Mostly I'm just enjoying hearing someone besides me knowing these things? Relieves some brain pressure.)
