See, if this is how we taught Sunday School, the middle schoolers would pay so much more attention.

This is exactly how I teach the middle schoolers. But I don't have them on Sunday, I have them on Tuesday, I have 4-6th grade on Sunday. (I teach them the same way, but I don't always give them the all the details. They don't necessarily need to hear about Sarah abusing Hagar.)
