The long await of Black Rock Shooter OVA is now here!

I've been for this so long since it first announced as an anime 12 episodes, to 6 episodes and ended up to bring us with a 50 mins OVA. Did they done it justice? Well, it's all up for you to judge !

Why do some people think BRS is yuri? It's two girls who become friends in middle school...they are, what, 12? LOL! I had girls I was best friends with in elementary & middle school, but I wasn't in love with them.
I've even been in Yomi's situation, were my best friend met someone new and I felt left out because they were hanging out more than my best friend and I did.
Of course, I've also done that to a best friend of mine also...You really don't know what you're doing it, because you're not thinking of it that way. It's surprising when that best friend brings it to your attention, and makes you feel guilty as hell.

I think every girl experiences both situations at some time in their life, but it definitely doesn't mean they are in love with you and vice-versa XD

You're very right about the girls friendship doesn't need to be love. But in anime world, sometimes it have these hints that just screamed yuri along the line.. maybe the fandom is getting in my head that is why I see it easily as yuri target for fans. If I looked at the friendship perspective, it surely a strong one and good plot. Yet I couldn't shake it off to think this is yuri.

But you're right, every girl do sometimes get to experiences these kind of things =3

You must use the Yuri Googles and follow the sacred path of Mugi-sama. :)

But, yes, BRS can be easily viewed as yuri. Or not. Just replace friendship for love and works. For me, Yuri Googles active, choose to see it as yuri. YEAY!

And by the way, loved the OVA. The slice of life segment are great. Thumbs up!!
