[Report] Takitsuba: Our Future Tour 2011 @ Yoyogi, Nov. 2

Nov 08, 2011 13:55

Taking advantage of a holiday in Japan, we took off to see Takitsuba in Yoyogi! ♥

This was actually my second time seeing this tour, since we went in Osaka too. I didn't write up a report for that one since someone else already did though. Osaka was fun, and of course so was Yoyogi! Especially because we got special guests!!!

In Osaka, we got stuck with stand seats all the way to the side of the stage. So we couldn't even see the main screen - but we COULD peek into the backstage area! So we saw them do the cheer before the concert started (lol) and we could tell if they were coming back out for encores and whatnot.

In Tokyo, we also had stand seats pretty high up (Takitsuba refuses to give us arena seats...) but this time we were more in the middle. So this time we could actually see the 3D videos!!!

I love that Takitsuba gives you stuff for the concert - during their "Matsuri" live we got flags, in Osaka for Journey we got the 3D glasses, and in Yoyogi we got the 3D glasses PLUS pom-poms for Takki's song!!! The pom-poms were really hilarious but unfortunately had a bad smell because of the plastic used... bleh.

Setlist

1. Journey Journey ~Bokura no Mirai~
Takitsuba came out holding hands ♥

2. Hey Now!
3. Yamanote-sen Sotomawari
In Osaka, they changed the last chorus to stations in Osaka and we were wondering if they were going to bother doing that for Yoyogi since the song already talks about Yoyogi and Harajuku, but they changed it anyway! It's really funny hearing them try to fit in new station names... Takitsuba no tabi!

4. Venus
5. Aishiteruze T&T
For some reason I cannot remember what they said during the calls... I think it might've been about Tsubasa turning 30? In any case, I do remember it was not as lovey-dovey as usual... which is why I can't remember xD

Takitsuba calls and MC
At the end of Aishiteruze T&T, Takki kneeled down and they hugged tightly... in such a position that Takki's head was cradled into Tsubasa's stomach haha. That of course got a lot of calls from the fangirls. Then Tsubasa let go and gestured for Takki to get on his side of the stage for the calls.

Takki borrowed a Tsubasa uchiwa from one of the fans in the front row, looked at it, and yelled "Tsubasa~!!!" into the mic. Then Tsubasa found a Takki uchiwa and held in to his chest like you would a picture at a funeral (in Japan) and started pretending to cry! Haha. He did that for a minute or so before Takki interjected and told him "hey... I'm alive...." And they did their introductions to us and went on with the concert.

6. Ai wa Takaramono
7. L.O.V.E.
8. Billions of You
9. Spotlight
10. Diamond
11.queen of R
12.Hey!! Listen to the music

3D video, Tsubako interview
Same as in the Osaka concert. Takki came out as his soucho character with the big blonde hair. Then they performed:

13. Gimira

MC
They talked about Tsubasa's playzone DVD coming out and how they were selling it at the concert venues.. but it was so popular it sold out! So they asked us to please buy it from a music store, haha. Then they talked about Takki's upcoming butai and Tsubasa was like "How come you don't ever call Tsubasa to appear in it?" Haha.

Then Tsubasa announced that his butai "Gabriel Chanel" (?) will be aired on NHK BS! (Sorry I don't know much about the play haha).

Then T&T revealed that there were some guests at today's show... all the members of Kis-My-Ft2!! Kya~!! xD I've been regretting not trying for their tour earlier this year so it was so nice to be able to see them in person!! They were sitting in a VIP box across the arena from us. They introduced themselves and thanked Takitsuba for taking care of them all these years... after all they were backdancing together for T&T since they debuted! Takitsuba kept saying "ooh, ikemen desu ne~" to the members who were in the drama xD And then they asked Kis-My if they still remembered the dances to YumeMonogatari, which they said of course they did, so T&T asked them to please dance along in the latter half of the concert :) (Unfortunately they never came on stage and didn't even really dance along in their seats...) Kis-My also announced their second single, "We will never give up." T&T asked them about it and Kitayama kind of hestiated... I think he was unsure if he was allowed to announce it yet but in the end he did, haha.

At some point they talked about this being their first time in Yoyogi (they normally play Yokohama arena) and how their 10th year anniversary is coming up. They also talked about turning 30 and which fans were around since they were 13... there are a lot! I remember Yume Monogatari but not when they officially debuted, haha.

Anyway, they continued the concert with:
14. Tomo yo (beautiful song!!)

Jr's songs - FiVe and 4U

15. Kimagure JET
Time for Takki's solo corner! He appeared in the stands on the other side of the arena from us, just strolling down one of the aisles of the fans!! He was wearing a full pink suit and had signed balloons that he gave out to kids... one of the little girls was ignoring Takki as he tried to give her a balloon, lol. He eventually got her attention.

Then he climbed down over the divider and into the VIP Box to Kisumai! He sat down on their laps and lay down for a second before heading back down on stage to his bicycle! Which he rode back to the main stage where two of the 4U members were waiting to do Kimagure JET with him.

During this, one of the 4U members was monologuing about how cool Takki is, and how he wanted to be like him. "And, what I also want to be is... this era's champion!! ("kono jidai no champion" from Everybody GO)" LOL

When Takki got to the stage, they had their pink pom-poms ready and had to do the beginning pose... Ready set go! Just like in Osaka, one of the 4U members messes up (sorry I don't know their names ^^;) and ends up in front of Takki... to which Takki scolds him and says "you're not doing it right!! SENGA can do it! Show him, Senga!!"

To which the spotlight and camera focus Kisumai's Senga and he stands up and does the "Ready set go!" pose from his seat xD Then Takki goes, "I think TAMAMORI can do it cooler!!" So Tamamori stands up and does it too xDD

Then they pan back to the main stage, where Takki and 4U do a proper beginning pose and start the song. This time since there was no talk of bras like in Osaka (lol), Takki did not have on a bra underneath so didn't take off his suit at the end.. boo~

Double Encore
31. Hito natsu no...
They stopped after Hito natsu no and we all called for another song, so they slowly hinted at Ai wa Takaramono by doing the hand pose~

32. Ai wa Takaramono
We called again for another song, because can they really end the concert without doing Crazy Rainbow?! Our "mou ikkai" chants were all over the place so Takitsuba teased: "What? What are you saying? We can't even hear you!!" So we slowed it down to be more in unison... "We still can't figure out what you're saying!" Haha, so we did it even slower... Takki: "Oh, one more? Shall we kurakura??!! (get dizzy)" Yeah! So they finally sung:

33. Crazy Rainbow

Sorry I feel like I didn't write too much commentary, but it was a really great concert as usual! I honestly think that out of the groups I've been to Takitsuba puts on the best show... you can tell they love their fans and like working together! This show, as well as the Osaka one went over 3 hours!! I believe Osaka was closer to 3.5 because they jokingly threw in another performance of Kamen during the encore... and this one was maybe 3hrs 15min or so? Either way, they do a lot for their fans and it's always really amazing~

As usual, we weren't able to get streamers since we were up in the stands, but they did release balloons near us that just kind of collected in the aisles... since Takitsuba fangirls aren't so crazy I was able to go and grab a few for me and my friends :) Yaay~

The next day we headed up to Niigata for another Johnny's duo... Tegomasu! ♥ Definitely a different kind of show, but great none-the-less. You can read my report below :)
