The setlist didn't change, so once again I will only comment on things that were different from the previous concerts (Niigata and Shizouoka here). I also can't recall a lot of it, so
Instead of the miso soup bowls outside of the venue, there was the flying machine from the Mahou no Melody PV!! Also inside there was a Tegomasu no Mahou sign with cresent moons.
Seats: Our seats were off.the.HOOK. We hit for Center, Block 15 seats which ended up being right in front of the center stage.. and because our seat numbers were low, we were right next to the rail so theoretically first row?!! Needless to say the boys were very, very close to us.. kya~
This is a shot I tried to take of the end messages.. which you can't see but at least it shows how close we were =x
Opening:
Tegoshi's hair was RIDICULOUS. It was pushed back and had white feathers (or maybe just white hair strips?) in it... it looked awful IMO, haha. He also looked exhausted, IMO, but it could just have been the lighting from my angle. (I just remember thinking he looked amazing in Niigata, and completely opposite this time).
Massu's hair also seemed to be styled to stand up a bit more.
Opening MC:
Massu did Lola impressions, lol. Tegoshi did too.
During the concert, there are hearts that fall from the ceiling. They used to fall during Ai no Naka de (in the encore), but they changed it to after Wasuremono. During the outro of Wasuremono, there's a video of Tegomasu holding the hearts and blowing it out to the audience, then they fall! My theory is that they needed more time for a costume change there.. and to give the staff more time to clean up the hearts before the end of the concert when fangirls inevitably crowd around begging for ones that fell by the stage haha.
We didn't get hearts the first two times, but third time is a charm!!!
Regular MC, after Kiss:
Massu caught the note in his hand again, but was really late (again), haha. Tegoshi ran over... speaking in English! (And I swear it was bc they saw us foreigners in the front row!!)
Tego: What?? What?? What happen??
Massu: Really?
Tego: What happen???
Massu: nn... My hand... in music... (lol, a little wrong there Massu!)
Tego: Massu's hand in music?!!
Massu: My hand in music!! LOOK!!
Tego: WOW!!!
I think that was the extent of their English ability because after that they just talked in Foreigner-accented Japanese lol.
Then they went into the MC.
They talked about Shige coming the previous night and hanging a poster for his book in their dressing room, haha. They also talked about both Shige and Nakamaru being kind of "normal" guys and how they're alike... so Massu nicknamed them together as "Shigemaru" lol
Tego talked about there being a soccer game in Shin-Yokohama the next day, meaning including the fans coming to their own concert, there would be a LOT of people in Shin-Yokohama!
Tego was saying that normally when people travel, they read books or play games... but Massu just kind of sits there and looks around, haha. Tego asks what he's doing, "are you fantasizing?" lol Massu says no that would be weird, then changes the subject. Massu says he finds it awkward when people in the shinkansen pass through the aisle and stop and stare because they recognize Tegomasu sitting together, haha. When Massu sees people do that he kind of looks out the window like he's not paying attention haha.
Massu mentions again he time he did fall asleep on the train, and Tegoshi also was asleep and ended up resting his head on his shoulder... ufufu. Cute.
Tego mentions that when he sleeps, he has a big Mickey Mouse body pillow that he hugs, haha. He also says that when he was in school and shared a room with other classmates (club mates?), he would often end up in someone else's futon in the morning haha.
Tego mentions that it's Christmas soon! And of course he noticed the girls who dressed up as Santa for the concert (including me! xD ). He said that he wonders where the girls change... like do they just wear the outfit from home? Or change in a bathroom? Massu suggests maybe they use one of those skirt-towels you'd use at a beach or pool (I've only seen them in Japan, but basically it's exactly what it sounds like - think a long skirt but made of towel material, and you pull it up over your chest so you can change under it).
Some girls randomly yelled out congratulations to Tegoshi during the MC; I couldn't hear what they said and neither could Tego... but thinking they said "Congrats on graduating", Tegoshi informed them that he hasn't graduated yet, haha. (if he ever will?) Massu pulled him back into the conversation (I get the feeling that sort of thing annoys Massu).
I don't remember at what point it was, but Tegoshi said the penlights were very pretty. To which Massu responded: "But you're prettier!!" lol
Massu's song for Yokohama was called "Yokohama Ao-ina"
Surprisingly, it wasn't about food!!!
It was about his Jr. years dancing behind groups like V6, Kinki, Takitsuba, and Arashi at Yokohama Arena and having to catch the train back with the audience, lol.
The last line was "And around me, all the Jr's that I've raised/trained... there are none!!"
The audience liked it so much we called for an encore... so they did it again! This time, it was the "Yokohama wa suigoi-na" version, which included the Tegomasu band playing and Tegoshi singing a harmony to the song!
Massu said doing it twice, the last punch line is no longer funny since we already heard it, haha.
Sakura girl
I considered buying a voice recorder just to try and record Sakura girl... in the end I didn't but I seriously regret it, haha. This performance is just absolutely beautiful... in my opinion, it is the Hajimete no Asa of this concert series. I can't wait for the DVD!!
Between this and Hanamuke though, I noticed that Tegoshi tends to rush songs and Massu tries to slow them down, haha. That or their beat was just a little off this concert.
Encore:
The Tegomasu bears come out in front of the 3rd floor stand seats and go around the entire arena. That's also when they throw out the autographed balls, which meant we weren't even close to getting one this time, haha.
When Tegomasu did their thank yous, Massu was trying to say that the year is almost over, so please support us next year.. but for some reason he couldn't figure out what to say so he just cut himself off and said "良いお年を!”(Have a happy new year!!), lol.
When they were posing together as Tegomasu for the last time, Massu stood behind Tegoshi and wrapped his arm around him, kya~
The concert staff was pretty prompt about getting people out, so there was no call for a second encore... I wonder if they will ever do one?
Overall another great concert!! This was my last Tegomasu concert, for this tour at least... I miss them already! Haha. Hopefully next year they will do something as NEWS~
Alright, I need to get on a plane home so this is probably very rough and I didn't add in the pictures where they should be, but you can check them out below and I'll edit when I have time :)
