I'm currently reading Woe is I: The Grammarphobe's Guide to Better English in Plain English by Patricia T. O'Conner and it's actually a better read than the title makes it sound. It is for my class but the author is suprisingly amusing and I might have read it anyway if I'd heard about it before.
um... God, I can't remember the title; I started it four months ago and am on page 20-something -- when I'm in school I have almost no brain power left for fiction reading, which makes me nuts because I adore reading. anyhoo. that was helpful, huh?
I am reading Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, by David Sedaris. This is a book club selection, not by me. I am glad it was selected . . . I've actually never read any of Sedaris' work, not out of any active avoidance but because I never think of it/get around to it, so this selection is making me read it.
I like it, but I like listening to him better.
Next up is The Hunger Games by Susanne Collins, a YA novel highly recommended to me by my brother and several others.
I am reading books I NEVER thought I would. It's the anita blake series. Anita is a vampire hunter/animator and these usually would not appeal to me at all but I am really enjoying them. I am reading the 5th in the series right now.
