Ugh. Came down with a sudden, raging sore throat last night.
Swallowing feels like gulping glass and now my joints are all owie and my temp is up a bit.

I think I have strep throat. It feels too sore to be a common cold.

Blah. We were planning a drive to the coast today.

Heh. Yeah, I'm being careful.
This doesn't feel like any kind of flu, though.
But I'm in no kind of respiratory distress, my temp is normal now and with an Advil on board I feel less achy and throat a bit less sore.
