Just a few minutes ago I found out that one of my all-time favorite directors, Satoshi Konpassed away yesterday... Rumors say it was cancer. I had no idea he was even sick. I'm really saddened by this shocking news... he was too young. So much potential.

I also found out about it just yesterday by case, just for leafish's post.
I didn't know he was sick neither... I never watched any of his films unfortunately (I always wanted to see Paprika though), but I heard a lot about him. It just seems so sudden, it's hard to believe it.
I'm really sorry ;_;

You should see his films. They're all wonderful and unusual! Especially Paprika. I love it so much.

The Dream Machine looked really interesting and I was looking forward to it. I wonder how they're going to finish it now...

I think I will do it now :) I never found the chance to watch them, I thought that there would always be time... at this point I can't posticipate anymore.

I'm sure they will find the way. As with Parnassus, I don't think they'll throw the project, especially if his author now is no more. We can only wait and see though...

NOOOOO SATOSHIII ;_;
Gosh, that was unexpected. I loved Tokyo Godfathers and Paprika (but only up to the point where Paprika is in the butterfly room)
