The coin thing is fun! :D I think there are a few other countries besides Greece who do it too but I'm not sure which ones.
One of my co-workers is from Spain and she says that in her family you pack up a suitcase and run around the neighborhood and whatever you packed will be where you travel that year. For example if you packed swimsuits you'll end up going to the beach, if you packed a coat somewhere cold and so on. She said last time she packed nothing and right now she's in England, lol!
I just think holiday traditions are interesting. New Year's in particular since just about the entire world celebrates it. Apparently the US really likes to drop things. XD
My New Year's Eve was one of the better ones in recent memory. The CD just made it so much more awesome. I can't wait for the whole thing to arrive! The wait is killing me!
