Special A 2011 chapter: #2

Dec 24, 2011 06:51

This is the second new chapter that came out back in September in the 11/1 ZA Hana to Yume issue. It's the Ryuu/Finn one that I didn't summarize until now. The third new chapter will be released in 3 days. It will be 60 pages long!

Up until Finn was 17-years old, she lived as a "prince". However, that condition no longer applies to her. She went back to being a "princess", though she's actually fine with that.

Ryuu Tsuji has managed to tame a wild demon horse at Hakusenkan's horseback riding range, and Finn shouts from the side how awesome he is. She says in narration that she may have become Ryuu's lover, but she's not so sure (and neither are we, Minami Maki). Once the horse is dealt with, Ryuu goes to Finn, who is just giving him a big smile and he doesn't exactly know why.

She gives the introduction of who Ryuu is and what the S.A class is. She explains how Ryuu found out that she was a girl back when she was still living as a boy and how he went all out to help her keep that a secret. She originally came to Japan to find a bride, but that's completely different nowadays. Now it's her dream to become Ryuu's bride.

However, there is one problem. Whenever Finn asks to go to Ryuu's house, he flat out rejects the idea. She accepts it, but she still wonders why Ryuu can't bring her to his house and wonders if it's a bad thing when she asks.

As if in the middle of discussion, Tadashi in the greenhouse asks, "Why won't you call Finn over to your house?"

Ryuu answers, "Why...? Because my older sister is targeting Finn." With an even gloomier air about him, he reveals that his older sister absolutely loves the expressions he has when he's troubled. Indeed, having Finn over would become problematic.

Meanwhile at the Tsuji mansion, a ninja-styled servant named "Mochinaga" reports to Shinobu that he has acquired the daily quota of Ryuu photos. While she is browsing them on her computer, she states that lately the amount of photos with "Ryuu's troubled face" has become scarce. She thinks the most adorable thing in this world is the look on Ryuu's face when he is in a pickle. Up until now the twins, Jun and Megumi, have caused Ryuu many a times to be stressed out or troubled, but nowadays he's not nearly as pressured. That is why she wants to meet this girl named Finn first-hand. She wants to teach her a lesson. However, Ryuu is fully aware of what she wants to do, so there's no chance at all of him bringing Finn to their house. So, she has a plan. She tells Mochinaga to tell Ryuu that she is going to their villa in Kyoto.

-----------------------------------------------

[Falling for the trap], Ryuu tells Finn that she can finally come to his house, which pleases her greatly.

(Oh my god you two quit being so cute.)

Once they arrive, Finn is amazed by what she sees, even if it's just the tall entrance gate she's seeing at first. Once the gate opens, she beholds a huge, spacious old-fashioned Japanese house. Once inside, Finn's excitement still hasn't shaken off and she expresses that she's always wanted to meet his family and hopes they can all get alone, though Ryuu tenses up and kinda laughs that off. He tells her that his family has "stranger anxiety", so it will not be that easy.

Two lines of servants bow and welcome Ryuu and his guest as they pass through. Ryuu guides her through the house (which judging by manga illustration alone would look absolutely beautiful animated or real), and they arrive at his room.

While Finn regrets that she can't meet any of Ryuu's family, Shinobu suddenly slides the door open to reveal herself. Ryuu's face just drops in dread (XD) while Shinobu feigns innocence of a guest being there and bows to give Finn her greetings.

Ryuu, still shaken up, asks Shinobu about her supposed visit to Kyoto. She snickers and says that Mochinaga was talking about next month. Then with a continuing sparkling smile she wonders what on earth he was doing bringing a girl to the house while the rest of the family was away. Perhaps he was planning on getting down and dirty like a pig. This just makes Ryuu angry and leaves Finn staring blankly at him XD

(Shinobu used a Japanese idiom 'sagari no tsuita buta', which literally means 'a pig in heat'. It's used for, well, you can guess.)

Finn follows suit and bows before Shinobu, fully introducing herself. She then cheerfully and innocently counters Shinobu's comment saying, "Ryuu-kun isn't a pig! He's a good man!" This takes Ryuu of guard and makes him cough and blush, which irritates Shinobu.

Shinobu takes Finn by the hands and tells her in a serious tone that she cannot allow her to be in the Tsuji house so long as she's like that. No, with a smile, she tells her there are many, many things she has to teach her~. Ryuu panics and takes Shinobu aside to tell her to not do anything strange to Finn.  In retaliation, Shinobu whispers and asks Ryuu if he would, by chance, allow her to show Finn his many, many photos if she stops now. Well, Ryuu seems to give up begrudgingly.

Meanwhile, Finn is glad that she has been given the chance to become friends with Ryuu's older sister. On to the lessons!

The very first fundamental "fact" Shinobu tells Finn is that all the men of the Tsuji family are MASOCHISTS. Of course, this leaves Finn blank yet again. She goes on to explain that they absolutely love it when their women are sadists towards them. She proclaims with vigor and a fist pumping into the air that the best way to capture the heart of a Tsuji man is to become an absolute witch! Finn completely trusts Shinobu, so she agrees to the challenge.

Later on when Ryuu is walking in the woods behind the Tsuji residence, Shinobu is whispering to Finn about what to do when Ryuu finds her. So, when Ryuu finally spots Finn, he's completely surprised and confused to see her in the waterfall pool in a two-piece swimsuit. He hesitantly asks why she's dressed like that, and she gives him a scrunched-up look and says, "Don't look at me, you perverted imp."

While Ryuu now looks even more painfully confused, Finn continues on that if he continues to look at her then she'll call the police. Ryuu starts shaking and apologizes. Meanwhile on the side, Shinobu is snapping photos of Ryuu's "troubled expressions".

------------------------------------------------

Later when Finn has been dressed for tea time in a kimono, she starts to question if this is such a good thing. Ryuu surely doesn't look like he's enjoying it. Shinobu explains that upon first glance that's what it looks like, but he's really enjoying it. Finn still finds it skeptical, but continues with the act.

Throughout the day, Shinobu continuously advises Finn to do crazy sadistic things to Ryuu. With each occurrence, Finn grows more and more uncomfortable. She can see that this is definitely not making Ryuu happy.

When they're alone, Shinobu congratulates Finn on a job well done and that if she keeps it up then she'll be Ryuu's ideal girl. She notices the down look on Finn's face and takes her hands and asks her what's wrong. Finn notes that Shinobu and Ryuu look so much alike at the least expected times. She thinks that having the chance to be on great terms with both Ryuu and his sister and seeing them both smile at once would be an absolute luxury.

She takes Shinobu's hands and thanks her for what she has done. She explains that all her life she lived as a boy, so she had no idea how to live or act as a girl. She has always been taught how to search for a suitable bride and how to be appealing to women, so when the time came when she could go back to being a "girl", she became a bit nervous. Especially when it came to her behavior around the boy she loved. She's very happy that Shinobu taught her a few things. Upon hearing Finn's story, Shinobu now looks horrified as to what she has done.

The sadistic behavior carries on to dinner. Finn is feeling truly strange about this. With every insult she throws at Ryuu and with every glance of his troubled expression, it hurts her on the inside. Finally it gets to the point where it's clearly visible in Finn's face that she's hurting. Ryuu and Shinobu see her and both say in unintended sync, "I quit."

"Quit?" Finn is...yet again blank.

Ryuu says that he's always been able to hang in there, but this is the last straw. Indeed, Shinobu says that she has acted foolishly. With these comments, both Shinobu and Ryuu snap at each other.

Ryuu: "What do you mean by 'acting foolishly'?! Finn was made to do stupid things all for your sick hobby! What the hell?!!"

Shinobu: "What do you mean by 'sick hobby'?!!  This is what I live for!!"

Ryuu: "For that reason you forced Finn to show this kind of face! Stop screwing around!!"

Finn stands up and asks why they suddenly had to start fighting, trying to calm them down for a moment. Ryuu apologizes to her and tells her there's something she ought to be told right away. He takes her by the hand and quickly leads her to Shinobu's room. He explains that his older sister never wanted to help her but was only using her for her own hobby.

He opens the door to reveal an entire room filled with Ryuu pictures. However, instead of being shocked and puzzled like he expected her to be, Finn is really excited to see so many pictures of Ryuu in one room! Shinobu confirms that it is her hobby to collect pictures of Ryuu and that she especially loves pictures of Ryuu's troubled faces!

Finn is now officially shocked^^.

Shinobu continues that lately Ryuu hasn't been making such expressions, so she wanted to use her as a means to make Ryuu appear troubled once again. However, she realized that when she saw Finn's pained expression from seeing Ryuu's strained look, she started to feel very guilty. She apologizes.

Ryuu also apologizes again. Finn says they don't have to apologize. It doesn't feel like something that needs it. But if they do feel like apologies are in order, then she asks for them both to smile. That's all she wants right now.

Shinobu says she can't. Ryuu expresses annoyance once again, but Finn has an idea. All her life of being raised male and being taught how to appeal to women come to good use. She gains Shinobu's attention and with a seductive and enchanting male-like lure in her tone she says, "But I want to see your smiling face."

Shinobu is taken aback. Her heart flutters and she becomes bashful and blushes nervously.

Finn turns around to Ryuu and says she thinks she heard a shuttering sound. Ryuu looks away nervously and says it's just her imagination. He exclaims that he cannot let her anywhere near his sister anymore. Finn can only ask why^^.

Later down the road, Mochinaga presents Shinobu with "Ryuu-sama and Finn-sama's picture files". She thanks him for a job well done.
