asperger's paper

How does a paper go from 1600 words to 2300 words after formatting?! Formatting takes up so much space~. I have cited 26 references, and probably read about 100 different sources of varying length for this paper.

Sadly, I don't think I will do well. At all. Here's to hoping...Maybe if I do well, I will post it!

Ahaha, tell me about it! 8D I wrote a paper for my American Literature class earlier this semester, and was shocked to learn that my teacher wanted it double spaced. DOUBLE SPACED? SERIOUSLY? Max length was 5 pages.... 5 pages in double spacing = about 2 "regular" pages @_@; I had to shorten my paper down from 10 double spaced pages to 5. It sucked. D: Most unnecessary paper I've ever had to write, that's for sure.

Yep, sounds just like my paper which was in APA format: 5 pages, double-spaced (WHY?!?!?!), and 12pt font. I had to change the font to 10 so I didn't go over 5 pages... :3 My teacher said she's not too strict about this and sometimes you just gotta continue blabbing, hahah.

I was just talking to a friend today. He said he handed in a paper today that was supposed to be 13 pages, but he handed in a 30-paged paper. I think he will be severely penalized @_@ They usually put limits because they want you to be clear and concise, and cuz they have limited time to correct papers. I think it's an important skill to develop, to be able to say important information in as little words as possible without losing the meaning..

I've always been told to keep things short and concise, so I'm really good at that. I don't like beating about the bush and using stupidly fancy language when presenting my arguments. I like to get straight to the point XD;
My problem with the American Lit. paper was that the assignment was huge, yet we had no room to make any actual arguments. It was stupid. Lol.
