Why Minazuki: She's a very good author, and her style is very unique. I don't think I've seen anything quite like it, and that was what got me into her works. Just bought some on amazon about an hour ago, btw.
Other mangaka: Takanaga Hinako, Ougi Yuzuha, Shimizu Yuki, and Tanaka Suzuki. As far as non-BL artists go: Itou Junji, Hino Hideshi, Umezu Kazuo, Arakawa Hiromu, and Takahashi Rumiko ^^v
Other fandoms: My all time favorite is One Piece (EPICALLY hilarious) and I also love Tiger and Bunny

Hm....I like Bleach (was more of a fan with the first two arcs though) and I also like Durarara.

You should definately give Tiger and Bunny a try. You'll go from "this is okay" to :this is actually pretty good" to "I wonder what will happen next" and finally to "NOOOOOOOOOO! IT CAN'T BE OVER YET!" At least, that's the general reaction. XD

I see... I'm currently off the Bleach fandom for awhile since I've stopped reading for the moment. I just heard today and saw that they're going to be into the final arc. So I might just pick it up nearing the end. :D

I need to watch Durarara as well... I've been missing out on all this! And yes, I've heard all about the TnB stuff, though mainly what I've really seen is all the yaoi! I just want to check out the reasons why people like it so much, I guess. \o/

So far I'm just currently really really into Gintama, and Gyakuten Saiban, which is Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I got back into the Naruto fandom also because Kishimoto is actually picking it up.

Also, I just stalked your profile and oooh, going towards Ph.D?! That's amazing. Good luck on it! :)

Other mangaka: Yamane Ayano FTW. Also loveee Youka Nitta as well. :D And uh Naduki Koujima although she's very under appreciated orz. <-- she has an unique art style as well. aha.

Your fandoms are all incredibly sparse and enormous so it was a right thing to stop a "a lot more" hahahaha. gawd you dabble so much in fandom and others even drama CDs I'm ashamed to call myself a true fan of BL and such haha!

Why Minazuki: At first, I was intrigued by the doll-faced characters, like, hmm, they look shiny and stiff... But then I realized they were anything but, hot damn, especially sensei's smut. Despite mixed reviews, I really liked "Kono Yoru no Subete" and have a fondness for her adorable seme in Dakara Kao Mo Mitakunai.
Other mangaka: Whoa, I seriously?? Okay then, Nakamura Asumiko, Natsume Isaku, Yoneda Kou, Kyuugou, Matsuo Marta, Yamashita Tomoko, Kotobuki Tarako, Ougi Yuzuha, Yoshiike Masuko, Kojima Lalako, Akiba Touko, Yamanaka Hiko, Ogura Muku, Kitabeppu Nica, and so so so many more (because I just *know* I'm forgetting super important ones), this question always makes my head implode...
