Kenpachi's Physical
Kenpachi entered the office, with unlit cigarette in mouth, adamantly complaining about Unohana's no smoking rule.
"Let's start this damn thing already," he groans, "I'm a busy man!"
Unohana looked up at the loud entrance and rubbed her temple. After seven physicals, she was a little worn out and wasn't sure if she was up to dealing with another one. At least it was Zaraki, which ensured that it would be a quick visit and relaxing. "Hello, Zaraki-san. I'd kindly ask for you to remove your cigarette" she spoke as she stood up to greet the vice-principal
"Yare, Yare," he replied, "I ain't smokin, what's the big deal?"
"As true as that may be, it's still a violation of school policy and as an adminstrator you wouldn't want to give off that image, would you?
Unohana ushered Kenpachi to one of the cots and held out one of her ever present cups of tea. "Would you care for something to drink?"
"Why the hell not," he replied sipping the tea, "Not bad, Ucchan!"
"I'm glad you agree" Unohana commented as she grabbed Zaraki's file and took a seat. "Shall we get started?"
"If we must,"
Sitting down he commented, "You haven't changed since High school."
"Is that a compliment I hear?" the nurse teased as she took the vice-principal's blood pressure, briskly squeezing the valve.
Laughing aloud, he replied, "Well y'know, I could never speak ill of one my oldest friends."
"The students would never believe this side of you, Kenpachi" Unohana commented after writing down some measurements. "How's Kusajishi doing?"
"Wonderful," he replied, "I don't tell many folks this but, she's the best thing that's ever happened to me." "Although, you're the only one I can trust with this info, being free of the SHS baka disease."
"She can be a real handful though," he added "like with this damn party."
"I sometimes envy your relationship, the two of you are so close" Unohana said pensively, her pen uncharacteristically silent. "You shouldn't worry about what the school thinks." In a surprising motion, the nurse suddenly let her cup drop, but kept her eyes fixed on Zaraki.
In a flash, Kenpachi caught the cup, and returned it to Unohana in one motion, "See I haven't changed since high school, either."
"That's true, your reflexes are as quick as ever, if not better. It must be due to the Kendo Club." Uohana jotted the information down quickly before continuing the conversation. "So you aren't looking forward to the staff party? I'm planning to bring over a dish or two, if you don't mind."
"Oh, well then if you make your delicious beef shepard's pie," he added, "I might just look forward to it. Oh yeah, a bunch of us are doing an FF7 group for the party, for some odd reason, I've been casted as Sephiroth."
"Sephiroth? I'm surprised it wasn't Ukitake-san, he has the right hair for it. Who else is involved in this enterprise?" Unohana smiled at the mental image conjured up by Zaraki's words and resolved to bring a camera
"Ukitake is gonna be Kadaaj, Shirou and Foxface are playing the other two guys,"
He added "And Yachan is gonna be Aerith." "FYI, I actually have a katanna that long," he said with a smirk
"I can't wait to see it. I'm sure it will be adorable. Have you cast any other characters? " The nurse giggled at the last statement. "I'll pretend I didn't hear the innuendo in what you said."
"Yare Yare," He replied, "Still a closet pervert just like in high school. Well, if you want in, I could see you Tifa or Elena. However, Ranchan showed interest in Tifa as well."
"You know me too well. Luckily no one else has figured me out" Unohana's eyes twinkled as she shared a secret smile with Kenpachi. "I think I'll sit this one out and just be the photographer instead. Last year's cosplay was a bit much for me"
"Well yeah," He replied with a giant sweat bead going down his face, "I never imagined you dressing like Nico Robin from One Piece, although it did look good on you."
"I did enjoy everyone's expressions" Unohana admitted "but I shall have to set an example for Kotestu-san this year. After all, I wouldn't want to ruin her image of me" She winked at Kenpachi before discreetly handing him a package. The note on top read "For you and Yachiru-chan to enjoy!"
"More sexual enhancers?" he asked " You really haven't changed. So I guess Kotetsu doesn't know about the belly button ring, I dared you to get in college?"
"I'm shocked you'd even think about that!" Unohana replied, her eyes dancing. "I can't give a dear friend a plate of cookies without being accused?" She winced at Kenpachi's next words. "Don't remind me, I still haven't paid you back enough for that. Though I have to admit, I do enjoy wearing it."
"Well it compliments your six pack well," he snickered "especially the dangly ones. I think you & Yachan both have impressive stomachs though, and sorry, it's just after the last package, one can't be too careful."
"Well, you might not want to open that while in front of students either" Unohana admitted, though she knew that the ensuing scence would have been priceless. "I think you're all set, still as healthy as ever." She stood up and inclined her head towards the clock, which showed that the bell was going to ring at any moment
"A pleasure as always, Ucchan," he replied smiling, "Oh yeah, did you ever start those belly dancing lesson, I gave you a coupon for?"
"Actually, I have." She winked. "Want me to give a demonstration at the staff party?"
"Sure," he replied "your sexiness might distract Shin-baka from getting too shit-faced."
"You're such a flatterer, still haven't changed, Kenpachi" Unohana gently gave him a whack as she deposited her charts and files at the desk. "Don't forget to tell Yachiru-chan that she's welcome to talk to me. I have some home pregnancy tests to give away'" The nurse winked
Walking off Kenpachi snarked, "Like God would ever curse this world with another me." "Take care, my dear friend," he said, exiting the office.
