I've been home sick for the past couple of days, and with that time I've been rather contemplative as to nature of the life unfolding before me. The set design for this piece looked fantastic; perfectly realistic from a bird’s eye view. I’m glad they managed to make it look like a functioning city. Unfortunately, up close individual set pieces looked cheap and fake, (much in the way of Batman & Robin).

Finally! I Will Not Speak of Avatar After This (for a while).
So it would seem that I have finally managed to complete that long-ago started rant about M. Night’s horrid vision of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I don’t know why I prolonged it thus far. Last Airbender Revealed.
Watched a 15-minute "behind-the-scenes" exclusive on Nick last night that have made me a little less critical of this movie. Still don't know if this new-found knowledge will redeem the movie, but if Shyamalan is telling the truth (not that he would have much reason to lie) I may have a little more respect for him now. Fucking Awesome!
Deathly Hallows trailer looks so good, it even looks like Radcliffe's acting has improved. (That stint on Broadway did him good). I may just decide to reread the books. It's so sad that it's coming to an end. I hope the movies don't leave me with a void like the books did.
