Jade is amused by grumpy folks, so he sorta lols at Falco ckretly. There's also a part of him that wants to ~*~experiment~*~ for science, but it's vastly overridden by his doctorly duties.
Initially, Jade rather disliked VK on general principles (arrogant, selfish, possibly homicidal, outdated fashion etc). After the mutiny incident, however, he's developed some grudging respect for the bastard, not to mention he's recently found the captain to be rather amusing conversation.
Jade still doesn't trust him >8(, but Jade doesn't really trust anyone, so. At least he won't be tempted to make a whoopsie during surgery anymore~
The feeling is... somewhat mutual. vK used to hate Jade with a passion but whenever Jade was all "I GUESS I SUPPORT YOU SIR" vK was like "....huh" and while he finds Jade completely incomprehensible and rather annoying, he doesn't. Actually hate him anymore.
Edgeworth's stress levels both worry and amuse Jade. On the one hand, stroke = not good; on the other, the Commander's reactions are usually hilarious.
On a more serious note, what little Jade's seen of Worthy actually doing officerish things has been fairly impressive - he's mildly surprised to see that Edgeworth actually gives a damn about the crew a people, not assets. He's also convinced that Edgeworth will have little problem shooting through the ranks and becoming a rather frightening Admiral or something.
However, Jade also has this nagging suspicion that not all is well in the state of Denmark Edgeworth. The Commander has so much potential, but he's also stubborn, self-loathing, and utter unwilling to accept goodwill from others, a combination that Jade suspects will land Edgeworth in jail, therapy, or an early grave.
I should also mention that Jade thinks Edgeworth is hilariously ~*~dashing~*~, in an anachronistic romance novel sort-of-way. If he smirks inexplicably, it's because of the cravat. 8>
Jade thinks Hijikata capable and a great deal more responsible than others on the Vicky, but that doesn't apply to Rou himself. He's sort of exasperated at the fact that even after Hiji passed out from lung complications, the boatswain still insists on chain-smoking. He doesn't understand what sort of mental process makes all the competent officers so self-destructive >8(
He needs his cigarettes. That's all there is. 8| Boy can't relax without em', he can't. Its a vicious cycle, really.
Though as far as I can see, Hijikata simply finds Jade annoying because he's being doctorly. He respects Curtiss for his skills and all that medical jargon whatnot, but as far as he's concerned he doesn't like anyone who snarks on him about his chain-smoking habits, which Jade is doing and yeah. He's just another annoying face in the crowd. For now.
Jade has had so little interaction with Joshua, but what he's seen has impressed (or at least amused) him. Smart, smarmy kid with too great a hold on the rumor mill? Sounds like a good time to Jade~
Basically, he figures that Joshua will own small parts of everything in about 15 years, provided the boy doesn't muck up and get overly arrogant.
