[ Everyone needs a break every now and then. Even the tireless charge of a parent searching for their child has to come to a halt once in awhile.

And so it is what with this beautiful little picnic set up right among the battlefield of Skaia.

[ Certainly legit enough for these two wizened figures to stop to have a drink and a bite to eat.

Speaking of, this dashing gentleman is currently pouring tea for the beautiful lady sitting across the table from him. ]

[such a dashing gentleman, Mr. Egbert. she is grateful for the tea even if she'd always rather have alcohol. but hey, tea is good too. she's learned not to be too picky.

surely, though, that Mr. Egbert has very fine tastes in dining.]

[ Only the finest array of teatime themed pastries for the lovely lady. He would have made them himself if he only had an oven. As it is, he has at least sampled one of everything to make sure it is up to standards before he offers her a small plate of tarts. ]

[Very good then. She will take one with a smile of thanks. The only thing that would make this all the better would be more alcohol. Always more alcohol.

But she is content with the fine company and food either way.]
