She says "wake up, it's no use pretending"
I'll keep stealing, breathing her.
Birds are leaving over autumn's ending
One of us will die inside these arms
Eyes wide open, naked as we came
One will spread our ashes 'round the yard

She says "If I leave before you, darling
Don't you waste me in the ground"
I lay smiling like our sleeping ( Read more... )

You don't meditate to make yourself feel better about things, really, or to accomplish anything besides the implicate goal of it in and of itself. This is not easily defined and tends to present itself subjectively, which is why there is a stress on knowing things for yourself through experience in Yogic spirituality as much as gaining a theoretical knowledge from literature ( ... )

I'm probably not even meditating properly, just using what I know. I found it helped calm me down, so I was using it as a tool for that...

Spiritually I look back on who I've been and my development and I'm actually...more happy about who I am now than I have ever been. I see a lot of potential in my future and in the growth of my spirit. And for the most part, I really love myself.

I've just had to turn off my other conduits of love to stay standing right now.

well, there's no right way for everybody to do it really, just the right way for you to do it, and as far as ways to calm you, it's probably the best, but if it stops doing that as much as you'd like for a while, well don't give it up is what I'm saying. It's like any other skill in that it has to be maintained to be truly beneficial.

In saying that, I've flailed mine a bit because of physiological concerns, but i do a little every day nonetheless.
