The "Subject" has Escaped...

It's taken a while but I've drawn up some sketches for some new pieces I plan to paint.
What really holds me is that each one represents recent events in myself in their own ways...and this was entirely unplanned.

One is a panoramic view of a Near Death Experience, starting with the left half of my face, panning over what I will withhold from you all ( Read more... )

The Islands (and The Unicorns) are cool. Matthew introduced me to them.
also, I just got Mars Volta tickets. I didn't even know they were coming to town and someone online was selling 2.

also, QUIT SMOKING ALREADY. :)

AUGH! We'll have to go together!
I saw them open for SoaD a few years back when I was really into both of them, and...well they had quite a bizarre performance. I loved it, but some people found it tedious. But what do you expect with songs that are 15 minutes long!
Cedric danced like Michael Jackson the whole time *grin*

Also! Guesswhatguesswhat? Islands are releasing their new album in a month! I've heard some previews and it sounds like, twice as good as Return to the Sea. It's called Arm's Reach.

GOD I HAVE OKAY.

If you come here for a bit after leaving Vancouver I can help you with the dreadlock thing. I recommend leaving Vancouver. It's one of my favourite hobbies, very closely related to one of my other favourite hobbies, which is going to Vancouver. Just email me if yer ever travelling about the area and want to chill.

Oh, absolutely. I'll probably be traveling toward Europe moreso, but I'll probably wind up heading your way just to say hi.
And free dreadlock help? Thanks Yan!! =D

Travelling around Canada is worth it. Why don't you try travelling around BC a little first, going to wierd parties and stuff? It'll teach you how to take care of yourself on the road, manage money, pack properly so as to conserve space and minimize strain on the back(it took me years to learn how to do this just right) and find the right kind of people and places to help you along the way. If you plan on travelling through Europe on foot and get stuck somehow, home is a pretty long fucking way from where you'll be. It's good to know what to do to deal with getting stuck, or better yet, avoid it altogether.

...Not to tell you what to do or anything. I'm probably only saying this because I want you to travel out here and maybe party a little with me.

And mine help is always free, unless you go getting your ears pointed, in which case you'll be on your fucking own. I deal with enough people playng D&D who want to be elves, I don't need people going around and doing it in real life.

Hahaha, only you could put it like that, Yan. *grin*

Well, I'll dwell on your advice. I don't plan on doing anything until I have enough emergency funds as well as travel funds to feel comfortable leaving on my own anyway.

If you pass through this part on your jounery i can dicuss it with the higher up about giving you a roof for a day or so. Also look into getting a International Backpackers card. Really helps with cutting down costs for food hostels and buses and such.Linked you http://www.hihostels.ca/en/home.aspx
