a lesson learned

One thing this holiday has taught me, after 20 years of life is that I can not depend on anyone else to make me happy. I am the only one that can truly make myself happy.

that's not true and you know it
there is plenty in this world that makes you truly happy
you have some amazing friends who love you very much
and your family loves you too
you've just figured out that the human race is far from perfect....
some are just a little farther than others
