Title: The Scent of Muscat Genre: Drama/Angst(Hopefully more towards Drama) Duration: 3 parts or more. Consisting of... I dunno what length each chapter will be.
Setting: Canada Conflict: Adjusting to new environment. Acceptance.
Hm...there's not much I can say, 'cause I've known these characters for quite a long time now. What I am concerned about, though, is how the two plot threads will intertwine. I know I talked to you about this already, but I had a new idea; rather than just finding some way to tie the pairs of siblings together somehow, perhaps you could consider some type of parallel structure? Even if their perspectives are different, you can have either events, or more subtle structure echo each other. I can't speak for other people, but I've always found it to be a really sophisticated technique. ^^
Well actually, I was considering it already.XD 'coz you know. Biha's got shorter understanding of what's going on verbally- Plus you KNOW Minoru's perception's rather very biased. So even if it was same event being told it would be 180 degrees different. Well, >X3 I'll see how it'll go. Right now I'm kindda stuck. ._. Sadly.
This is a good starting point, but the story itself and the problems that could potentially arise due to all of the family issues have the potential to become mundane. Try to keep focus away from "lifestyle adjustment" and try and place it on conflict as much as you can. And if you can work in some conflict that isn't angsty, it will work all the better. A nice way to do this is through the trustworthy technique of misconceptions... always make sure there's a few bits of information that certain characters don't know about each other.
