Yeah, there you are--a summer in Chicago--and it seems to me that all you've done is worked. (at least from what I've heard.) A balanced life is a necessity. You are only young once.

yah, i think there was too much settling in going on this summer. autumn should be better. keith and i both have our jobs and know what we need to do to do well. our apartment is put together, we have a parking spot, etc etc.

all these good, cheap concerts should help us have a little fun :)

i'm surprised you don't know the last one too. although, i suppose it is hard to understand his lyrics at times... his voice just melds into the ensemble.

the first one is an alternative country rocker gone solo...
the second one is a one hit wonder from the 90s who turned into an amazing indie band...

good job on the other 3 though!

it's going to very fun autumn.

k then, from those clues I'm going to guess nada surf for the one hit wonder? and appleseed cast for the other?

work is kicking my ass lately but I would love to catch up on the gtalk sometime, and god willing, our finances are falling in to place and a chicago trip is way past due!

the last one is rhett miller, from the old 97's. :)

the work days have been pretty crazy around here too... we're understaffed and in a transitional period, making for a lot of questions and no time to find the answers. at least i don't take the work home with me though.

but yah, drop me a line sometime. if you come to visit, just make sure it isn't mid october (i'll be in LA).

Here's an idea-you could fly up to see your auntie for $100 ($49 each way) depending if you're traveling with a group and could get away. Or take the train. More expensive (that makes no sense.)

thats going to be awesome. have you heard any of the new stars stuff? i definitely don't like it as much but i am hoping it will grow on me before they come around to D.C. i'm excited for rilo kiley... they just put out a new album and are touring too.
