nope, no such thing. it was 2 (or more) different species found next to each other, and they mistakenly fused them into one species.

Good call on being WEEKS AND WEEKS late on that kryptonite news. Seriously, you're so late that, when I mentioned it to Chris Kaz the other day, he informed me that we had already talked about it weeks ago and it had been so long that I had FORGOTTEN about it.
