I don't know weather to thank Tony for doing laundry or be mad because all my sweaters are now 'Barbie-sized'. UGH

Welllll, I would thank him and then ask him to take you shopping(after showing him a sweater).

Oh no, my husband "tried" to help me once by doing the laundry. Never again, nothing fit by the time he was done.

I've often been in this position. If I want to save things from becoming midget sized, I have to put them well away from the laundry basket. For a while I thought we had an agreement that if it ISN'T in the basket, it wasn't ready to be washed, but a $70 worn-twice sweater disproved that agreement.
So, after 30 years of this battle, I've learned to try and get synthetics or cotton that won't shrink, and if I do succumb to the 100% Italian merino I love, keep it well away from the laundry basket.
