I think I stayed at Gilman a little long last night. I went in to clean, and made a mess. But I did finish up a little furnace that has been sitting around waiting to be worked on, for like 4 months.

Can I have your furnace? It looks so good. Where did you get your insulation wool? What mix did you use for it? How much was your crucible and were did you get it?

here are some of the... in progress pictures. you can get the insulator from fireplace shops, (or even use fire bricks) I didnt use a mix for it. Colloidial Silica was used on the upper portions to glue it into place. the rest used high temp ceramic foam.
