i know you dont need a mac to get the mouse. I have a powerbook laptop already though. I am suggesting that, in general, the biggest complaints, not my own. I have a different list of complaints about macs, since I dont do games, nor have trouble releasing extra cash, for something that, just works. Time is money. Its cheaper to buy a mac and have it work, and have the ability to run all UNIX apps, and a lot of Linux apps, plus all the OSX apps, (AND Windows, if I really need to, I run an emulator that allows me to run AutoCAD and Mechanical Desktop for modeling), then to buy a cheaper (cheaper parts too) windows machine, which takes more than 8 min to setup, and has periodical problems that I must screw with all the time. (when a new program doesnt work, because I dont have permissions setup right or whatever). I realize you could run freeBSD or whatever flavor you like, on a PC laptop, and get away from windows, but there are still hardware issues that must be dealt with ( ... )
