king of leon: you have to be somewhat intimidated when 3/4 of a band, or 75% if you want, has better hair than you. their drummer looked like jesus, which i found funny seeing as how they are sons (and newphew) of a preacher man (their lead guitarist looked like danny bonaduce). they were better than i thought they were going to be. during the last song there was hair everywhere. that was the 70's part of the night.
the coral. i really liked them. . .they weren't what i expected at all. plus they all looked like they were 16 and then came in drinking beers. their music felt very george harrison on the sitar 60's but it was really good. they had harmony, the lead singer could sing, and the guitarist did some pizzicato thing which sounded awesome. at the end the lead singer started to pick up the amps and throw them to damage them but he was too small to do any real damage. then he put on incredible hulk gloves. in summation, they were enjoyable.
hey big guy. you wont fit into the little space there is in front of me so just take your large ass somewhere else. needless to say people were uncomfortably close last night. i hate having to stand for show now. . i've been spoiled. and my knees tend to lock and then hurt in like 20 minutes.
