the past two weeks have been the weeks from hell. . . sort of
my school has traditionally been an all women's college. . (i went there, i liked it, i blossomed but i digress). fall 2003 is the first year in which the school will be coed so the enrollment has gone up like woah (from apprx 100 last year to 217 so far) and 170 kids were coming to a 3-day orienation. anywho, things went rather smoothly aside from my participation in the stupid team building activities i hated doing at my own orientation. for example, there are 3 wood boxes and 2 wood planks. . none of which reach between boxes. you have to figure a way to get to each box using the plank and not stepping on the ground. the idea is to stick the kid with the most weight on the end of the wood plank to anchor it and make it a diving board type apparatus. whatever. the second night the geniuses, 3 boys in particular, decided to drink under the spot lights right infront of the school. . . the school is a dry campus, but you sneak stuff in in rubbermaid containers. . something that keeps it shape so that security doesn't know what you are doing.
they are horny bastards too. . .there was sex being had after knowing each other for 2 days. one couple was macking in the bathroom and another in their own room but it was getting a little too rowdy and the orientation leader had to tell them to keep it down.one of the student promised oral favors to the assitant for the dean if he could get a single room.
i got some b-day presents early. in particualar pride and prejudice with coling firth hence the previous i heart colin firth entry. b.c i do. a lot. a lot a lot. i have been watching it non stop for days, i cant help myself. the end.
