So, way back in Rocktober, I was spared from having to make an awful decision between going to see my long-time favorites (The Wallflowers) and my new-found obsession (Hot Hot Heat). Great reading! And it's okay, I forgive you for not seeing the Wallflowers...though this classic MindleReview reminds me that I still owe the world an equally epic recap of that show and trip and all.

Oh, and you do NOT want to come to Ithaca, NY, for your birthday. It makes Pala, Calif., look like a conveniently situated metropolis.

I know it won't be glamorous, but I'm intrigued by the Cornell gig mostly because I know that half of The Heat are also celebrating birthdays that weekend. Could be fun if they let me crash the party...not that that would ever happen.
