I only read 28 books this year. That's a bit sad, but I guess with school and all it is to be expected. On top of that, the books I read, although interesting, few were what I would call favorites. Basically it comes down to two...

What I watched in 2008
Last year I made a resolution to see better films in 2008. I think that worked out for the most part. Mostly because I had less access to free movie tickets and when you gotta pay... you get a little pickier. I also saw fewer films this year, probably because of school. Overheard at the library today...
Library Worker: *checking books out to a patron* Oh, this is a nice book with chickens on the cover.
Old Lady Patron: My friend has chickens!
LW: Well, that must be nice.
OLP: She has a good looking husband too, but they let the chickens sleep with them in the bed!

My Rock Star Life
Sometimes I don't understand how I lived without the game Rock Band... I mean really lived. Rock Band is surely the best game ever AND it gives someone who is utterly and completely inept at playing a musical instrument the false hope that somewhere deep (deep) down inside... there is talent.

Thought I'd try out the LJ app for the iPod Touch. Seems okay but, really - how long can one go before one's thumbs cramp up.
