Yea so Amy signed us up for gym memberships…………

Yea, I’m fat and need to go to the gym.  So I’m back on Weight Watchers and trying to take advantage of the gym.  I’ve already been a few times, but I’m still worried that after the initial concept of going to the gym wares off, I’ll stop going.  I was supposed to have my introductory training ( Read more... )

For me, I need to kind of have a goal that I want to reach, like a race or a triathlon. I know you like biking, so maybe you can shoot for a Century Ride or something? Maybe you want to get in shape so that you can hike up some mountain...some kind of fitness goal is always what keeps me motivated.

Then, once I am in shape, I feel so good and healthy that I worry about losing that good fitness level.

Make it a regular date and put it on your calendar. Just like Date Night!

Have a work out buddy! Some one who can say "I'll see you there at X o'clock!" so you can't back out.

I'm like Kayla. I need a goal.

Running a certain distance. Or being a time. Or being able to lift a certain amount of weight.

Having those sorts of goals is what keeps me going.

That and the fact that i don't have cable so the gym is the only place I get to watch it.
