My mom had a great 'recipe' for Twinkies and a bunch of other name brands foods in a newsletter in the 70s. I know that I have it somewhere in one of the storage boxes around here, and that the paper is blue, but please, I'm not tearing thru anything just to get that. Whenever I see them complaining about their desserts going away, I can't help but think...

1. I've always been partial to Little Debbie more...

2. Where were you guys when they were hemorrhaging money? You didn't seem to care then.

3. Don't even blame the union because the company owner's mismanaged the money and product, hence the hemorrhaging...in my town alone no one would pay full price for Twinkies or Merita because there was a discount store FULL of expired product at half the price. What kind of business model is that?

P.S. I believe my Taco Bell still has them. They seem to have every product every made, just not always listed on the menu board.

The average customer wouldn't know they were hemorrhaging money.

Seriously, the union demonizing on this is ridic.

My Taco Bell might too, thankfully I got an idea in my head that I don't like it anymore and I haven't gone in a long time. I seem to be a Jack in The Box and CArl's Jr. person now. I like Jack's heart attack special a.k.a. cheddar bacon wedges.

I thnk Little Debbie is a regional thing. I don't even know the names of their products.
