"Whoa!" Tobi yelped, barely dodging the snakes--because he was busy talking. "Did you just spit ink?" Dodge. The lighter went out. "They just keep makin' the kiddies weirder and weirder!" A trip-skip and a dodge. Geez, these bastards were faster than he'd thought! "Not that it's your fault, though, little buddy..."

Tutting his tongue, Tobi flicked the lighter flame on again. This time when he flickered out of existence for that snap-second, he reappeared right in front of the kid's face--spray spraying and surging flame ready to engulf a nose and some eyebrows.

Hm. Maybe he should've aimed for somewhere a little less fatal...
